INSIDE AND OUTSIDE MOUNT OPTIONS:

Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2.4 inches for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2.4 inches, please select an outside mount. A deduction of approximately 0.4 inches is taken to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover, as outside mounts are often used when there is insufficient frame depth for an inside mount.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENTS: 1. Measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom, and record the smallest of the 3 measurements. Deduct 0.4 inches from this measurement to determine your customized width. 2. Measure the height at the left, middle, and right side, and record the smallest of the 3 measurements. Use this number as your customized height.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENTS: 1. Measure the outside frame width and add 6-10 inches to determine the outside mount width. 2. Measure the outside frame height and add 6-10 inches to determine the outside mount height. The overlap is recommended to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.

A standard 2/5-inch deduction is made to the width for a proper fit. The actual blind size will be 21 3/5" W x 36" H, perfect for a window 22" W x 36" H. For OUTSIDE mount, please follow the measurement guide to choose the appropriate size.
